Iana Kasian, a model living in Hollywood, was found murdered in her apartment. The findings from her autopsy depict horrifying specifics about the violent ending she endured.
According to reports from several medical examiners, Kasian had been brutalized excessively before being killed by her boyfriend, Blake Leibel, a successful graphic novel author. When discovered, authorities noted that she had been cut, hit, was missing parts of her face and all of her blood had been drained. Documents also reveal that there were significant bite marks on Kasian’s jaw. She had endured blunt force trauma and her skull was visible after large parts of her scalp had been sliced or pulled off.
Blake Leibel is the child of affluent Canadian real estate mogul and Olympic sailor Lorne Leibel. He has been charged with his girlfriend’s murder and has since pleaded not guilty to the accusations. He was arrested at the crime scene just a week after being released from jail for separate rape allegations involving another woman.
Reports indicate that one of Leibel’s graphic novels, “Syndrome,” includes a scene where the killer drains his victim of her blood.
Iana Kasian’s lifeless and mutilated body was discovered the at the house she and Leibel shared lying beside to her 2-month-old baby who was not hurt in any way. She had previously left the residence after Leibel’s rape conviction came about, but had come back to speak with him. When her mother didn’t hear from her for a while, she alerted the police. The baby is now in the care of Kasian’s mother.
Leibel has officially been charged with one count of murder, motivated mayhem and torment and a unique condition accusation including torture and chaos. If found guilty, he could receive a sentence of life in prison.
