People have quoted Karma as a bitch but good karma and deeds can indeed return to make your life better and blessed. This theory worked in real life when a homeless man decided to help a woman in trouble.
A woman named Kate McClure was traveling from the I-95 interstate highway when she ran out of fuel and had to pull over at an odd hour. When she got out of her car she realized that she had no money on her and was left stranded in the middle of the highway with no ATM in a mile.
However, a shabbily dressed homeless man named Johnny walked towards her and advised her to leave the highway as soon as she can terming it unsafe for her. When she told the man that she ran out of fuel and had no cash on her Johnny told her to stay in her car and lock the doors.
He then walked to the nearest gas station and bought a can filled with petrol with the last $20 he had been saving for food which would have helped him survive for days to come. Kate accepted Johnny’s help and promised to return Johnny the $20 bill that he had lent her.
Kate then set up a GoFundMe page to help collect donations for Johnny and the response she got was amazing. She started with an initial target of $10,000 for Johnny which soon turned into $100,000. The donations as of today stand at $116,000 which would help Johnny pay his expenses for food, rent and even help him buy a new car.
Someone has rightly said “As you sow so shall you reap” and this saying came true for Johnny and his kind gesture not only fetched him respect but also a better life and a new home. So don’t hesitate to help people who really need it, just go ahead and do it.
