Naya Rivera, best known for her role as a promiscuous cheerleader on Glee, has been arrested after her husband called police on her after she allegedly punched him in the head. Footage of the attack was obtained by her husband, Ryan Dorsey, and given to local police.
According to reports, Rivera and Dorsey were taking a stroll around Dorsey’s West Virginia hometown with their young son. A verbal altercation ensued that ended with Rivera striking her husband in the head. Dorsey must have been used to the kind of abuse taking place, because he was prepared with his cell phone to take video evidence of the incident to provide authorities should they need it.
Rivera was arrested and taken in front of a judge who released her on a small bail that was paid by Dorsey’s father. Rivera was informed that she could leave and go back to her home in Hollywood while the case was ongoing.
Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey have a long history of relationship issues. The couple got married after only three months of knowing one another. They were married for two years, but then filed for divorce. However, the divorce was called off a few months ago, because the pair agreed to work on their relationship for the sake of their son. Apparently, whatever they are doing to work on their marriage is not working very well.
This is not the first time Rivera has been accused of being violent with a significant other. She was once engaged to rapper Big Sean, who ended their engagement because of her temper and frequent violent outbursts. You would think that having an ex write a hit song about your anger problems would make Naya Rivera reevaluate how she reacts to certain situations, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
