Track Palin, the son of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, has been arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and robbery. This marks the second time that Track has been accused of and arrested for harming his wife. The first time was back in 2016, when she alleged that he hit her and threatened to shoot her with one of his many guns.
Not much is known about the details of the incident that took place and resulted in Track Palin’s second arrest, but the family has asked for their privacy during the investigation to ensure that the absolute truth is presented in court.
In the first instance of violence toward his wife, Track Palin allegedly hit his wife in the face and kicked her legs. When police arrived at the scene, she was discovered cowering under her bed in an attempt to hide from Palin. Track reportedly also had an injury to his face, was clearly under the influence of alcohol and was refusing to cooperate with the authorities.
Palin was able to take a plea deal for his first arrest and managed to get away with having several of his charges dropped, as well as only being required to pay a fine and take an alcohol abuse class. We don’t think he is going to be able to get off so lightly with his crimes this time.
Sarah Palin has previously spoken out about her son’s troubled past, stating that his actions are a result of several stress disorders that came about after his time serving in the military and being deployed overseas. She has revealed that her son Track has a lot of demons that he struggles with on a daily basis, but that the family always tries to gather around and support him during his times of need.
