Andrew Spark has been arrested and accused of having sexual interactions with female inmates that he filmed and then posted online. According to reports, the lawyer used his title and status as a way to get into Florida prisons and meet privately with inmates. He would then bribe them with money to be put into their commissary accounts if they partook in his homemade films.
Police were notified that Spark was accused of propositioning female inmates after one of the women who engaged with him began telling her friends in the prison. Eventually, word got back to the officials and a plan was put in place to catch Spark in the act.
Spark was apprehended by authorities while he was meeting with an inmate at Pinellas County Jail. They quite literally caught him with his pants down, while the female inmate was seconds away from performing a sexual act that was going to be filmed.
Authorities revealed that Spark was able to get away with twisted scheme for so long because the rooms where he would meet his inmates were not equipped with security cameras. They also stated it was most likely that he would stand in front of the little window on the door to make sure that no one could see inside the room.
Women that were discovered in some of the tapes Sparks made have stated that he offered them less than $50 to engage in sexual acts with him. They revealed that many women were willing to appease him because $50 was a lot of money to be added to their commissary accounts and eventually their totals would reach a decent sum that would allow them to buy anything they wanted.
Andrew Sparks has been released from jail on bail. He is currently awaiting trial and if found guilty may be sentenced to several years behind bars.
