Scott Fricker and his wife Buckley Kuhn-Fricker passed away after their teenage daughter’s boyfriend shot them in their own home. Allegedly, the victims learned that their daughter’s boyfriend was spreading neo-Nazi hate online and they demanded she stop seeing him instantly.
Relatives state that the victims’ daughter was so distraught over having to break up with her boyfriend that she went on a hunger strike. However, family gathered around and were able to convince her that it was the right thing to do. Ultimately, she agreed to split from the murderer.
On the night of the killing, the victims discovered her daughter in her bedroom with her boyfriend. They immediately told him to get out of their home and never return. That is when he pulled out a gun and shot both of them dead. He then pointed the gun at his head and shot himself. He is currently in critical care at a nearby hospital.
Janet Kuhn, the mother of Buckley Kuhn-Fricker, shared that her daughter discovered a Twitter account that was full of hateful propaganda and messages that Buckley believed belonged to her daughter’s boyfriend. Allegedly, Buckley sent an email to the boy’s school informing them about his hateful ways. She initially said she felt bad for ratting him out, seeing as he is just a young kid, but at the end of the day he made the decision and has to live with the consequences.
There were several other family members present in the home at the time of the shooting. None of them were injured in the incident. They shared that they are still reeling from the shock of what they witnessed. They stated their main priority is making sure that the victims’ teen daughter receives all the support and love she needs at this extremely difficult time in her life.
